Terms of Use

Last updated: July 28, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Payper website and invoice tool (the "Service"), an online service made available to users worldwide. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service 2. Acceptable use 3. Your responsibility 4. Payments 5. Your data 6. Intellectual property 7. Disclaimer 8. Liability 10. Contact

1. The Service

Payper is a free tool that helps you create invoices, generate shareable payment pages, produce payment reminders, download PDFs, and track invoice status. The Service runs in your web browser and stores your data locally on your device. We may add, change, or discontinue features at any time.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any law or regulation, or infringe the rights of others;
  • Create false, fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading invoices or payment requests;
  • Impersonate any person or business, or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone;
  • Distribute malware, or attempt to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or others' systems;
  • Use the Service in a way that could harm Payper or its users.

3. Your responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content of your invoices and for how you use them, including the accuracy of amounts, tax calculations, business and client details, and your payment information. Payper does not provide legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice, and any features that reference tax or currency are provided for convenience only — verify them before relying on them.

4. Payments

Payper does not process, hold, or transfer money and is not a payment processor, bank, or money services business. Any payment happens directly between you and your client through third-party providers you choose (such as PayPal, Wise, Payoneer, a bank, or a crypto wallet). Payper is not a party to, and is not responsible for, any transaction, dispute, chargeback, fee, or non-payment.

5. Your data and backups

Your data is stored locally in your browser, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for backing up your own data. Because the data lives on your device, it can be lost if you clear your browser, switch devices, or experience a device failure. We provide Export/Import backup tools to help, but we are not responsible for any loss of data.

6. Intellectual property

The Payper name, logo, website, and software are owned by us and protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use the Payper brand except to use the Service as intended. The content you create with Payper — your invoices and business information — belongs to you.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any data will be preserved.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Payper and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Because the Service is provided free of charge, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service will be limited to the amount you have paid to use it — which is zero.

9. Governing law & changes

Payper is provided free of charge to users around the world. To keep things simple and fair, these Terms are governed by, and any dispute relating to them or to the Service will be handled under, the laws of the country in which you (the user) reside. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the laws of your home country. We may update these Terms from time to time; when we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and your continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
